RECYCLING CENTRE

We have a state of the art wash plant and a large recycling operation within our base in Houghton-le-Spring.

Whilst oversized materials go through the crushing process into recycled aggregates and any soil is screened for topsoil, we are also busy transforming all inert waste into valuable, reusable resources. It is taken through the plant in a series of carefully coordinated processes. The materials are screened and separated by size then washed and set into bays ready for sale in its best form.

As well as recycling almost 90% of all waste we also use a circular water system, so all water used is cleaned after the washing process and filtered back into the system, this reduces our environmental footprint and aides our dedication to sustainability.
